This Privacy Policy explains how Automapic collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you create an account, build projects, connect data sources, generate APIs, or use our website and dashboard.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, password authentication data, verification status, billing identifiers, plan details, and security preferences. We also collect project information, table schemas, imported sheet metadata, record data you choose to upload or sync, custom domain settings, API key metadata, and usage logs needed to operate Automapic.

When you connect or import a spreadsheet, Automapic may process the sheet URL, sheet identifiers, column names, row data, sync status, and related project configuration so the service can generate and serve APIs from that data.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, create projects, generate API endpoints, validate API requests, monitor usage limits, prevent abuse, improve reliability, provide support, process billing, and send important account, security, or service notices.

API and usage data

Automapic records usage events such as request method, project, table, response status, and timestamps. These logs help us enforce plan limits, troubleshoot errors, protect the platform, and improve API performance.

Data security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. API keys are stored as hashes, and private project data requires authentication and valid credentials. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure.

Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run Automapic, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, and security providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect Automapic and its users, or as part of a business transfer.

Third-party services

Automapic may integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, email providers, authentication providers, and spreadsheet platforms. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

Data retention

We retain account, project, billing, and usage information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. You may delete projects or request account-related changes by contacting us.

Your choices

You can update account information, manage projects, rotate or revoke API keys, remove imported data, and change available settings from your dashboard. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements.

Children's privacy

Automapic is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice through the service or by email.
